Just minutes ago, Poland’s Behemoth posted an announcement on their Facebook page that they will be co-headlining a North American tour this winter with Cannibal Corpse, with support from Aeon and Tribulation from Sweden. The tour starts on January 28 in New Orleans and concludes on March 7 in Ft. Lauderdale. It includes six Canadian dates as well as stops in 21 U.S. states.
You will be delighted to know that the tour stops in Seattle, because whatever makes me happy necessarily makes you happy.
What a fucking pleasant way to begin the new year. General admission tickets go on sale this Friday and VIP tickets are on sale now — here. The full schedule of dates is as follows:

Not gonna lie, I’m most excited about Tribulation being on this. They blew Watain out of the water on their tour last year, and their most recent album is one of the best death metal records in years.
Tribulation are great, and the one time I’ve seen Aeon, they kicked ass too. This tour is just packed with goodness.
Always happy to see Corpse live (again, and again) and Behemoth (again). Aeon would be the band I’d be most excited for, however, as I’ve not seen them. Though it’s irrelevant, this tour isn’t coming anywhere near me.
Aaaaaaaand now I know where I’ll be on the night of February 20th.

Yet another great tour hitting Seattle on a Tuesday. Is there a law or something I don’t know about?
Pretty killer lineup, may have to take that day off.
You get a little of this, you get a little of that. Big tours roll in here and play in shoebox-sized venues, but then they do it in the middle of the week so you’ll feel like shit the next morning.
I’m convinced there’s some kind of conspiracy. Too many occurrences to be a coincidence. This just screams Illuminati.
