For several years No Clean Singing has been a proud sponsor of Culthe Fest in Münster, Germany, and we’re helping to spread the word about it again this year.

The 2026 edition of the fest is imminent — it will take place over two days on April 4th and 5th. The fest will include performances by 20 acts from over 7 countries on three stages, headlined by Ultha and Warning. It will also include a reading and an exhibition closely related to the festival’s music, all taking place at Sputnikhalle, Café Sputnik, and Triptychon at Hawerkamp Münster.

For further details, here’s the text of Culthe Fest’s latest press release:

Warning

Culthe is cult! Since its first edition in 2014, Culthe Fest has evolved into one of Germany’s leading underground festivals for black, death, doom, and post metal to rock, ambient, alternative, dark folk, and experimental heavy music – and is also a driving force in Münster’s music scene.

“What makes it special is the distinct familiar and friendly atmosphere, the musical diversity of the international event – including carefully curated genre-bending and – blending – and the bridging of music to visual art and other forms of expression,” says the organizing Culthe Collectiv e.V. (registered association), which runs the festival on a non-profit basis.

20 acts have been announced for the upcoming edition, many of whom are rarely seen live, with three-quarters performing a special set. In addition to headliners Ultha (DE – with guests and surprises!) and the legendary Warning (UK), numerous well-established artists as well as underground bands will perform, including Sun Worship (DE), Wyatt E. (BE) featuring Nina Saeidi (UK), Yellow Eyes (US), Jonathan Hultén (SE), and many more.

Ultha

The musical reading by Münster-based author and musician Marcel Dreckmann is titled “Jenseits. Hier.” (only in German). Music is intertwined with literature and dark folklore, from a regional “Mönsterlänner” perspective.

The exhibition “Dark Arts & Crafts” accompanies the event and closely corresponds with the musical program. It features all manner of dark graphics, arts and crafts, and curiosities.
