Rheia is just god damn gorgeous! Didn’t really know the band before this album, but my god do I come back for it time and time again. However limited my pool for albums of the year may be, Rheia definitely belongs in it.
It’s definitely a really good album (if, as per the haiku, a little overhyped). Glad you liked it!

The Alcest haiku sounds spot on.

And the Alcest piece… I must admit my French is a bit rusty these days, as I’ve never been much of a cunning linguist (though I can understand more than I can speak). But I was hoping that last line translated to “echoes of the past”.
