perversor - anticosmocrator cover

On July 27, Hells Headbangers will release Anticosmocrator — the second album by the Chilean band Perversor. It follows their 2008 debut album, Cult of Destruction, and their 2011 EP, The Shadow of Abomination. Today we bring you the premiere of a savage new song named “Bestial Path”.

There is a sound at the beginning of this song, something like the roar of a great beast rising up on dragon wings in the midst of a tornado. It sets the tone and it sounds a warning, though it’s a very brief warning, not long enough for you to duck and take cover before the song explodes.

And man, it really is explosive. Perversor erupt in a torrent of thrashing, slashing riffs that have the high, poisonous sound of a hornet hive riled into a fury. The drumming is equally maniacal and equally destructive — a highly accelerated burst of automatic-weapons fire that seizes the attention from its first appearance. And the high-powered ferocity of the song is further amplified by the viciousness and speed of the vocal vituperations.

Nasty stuff… with megawatts of energy and no regard for human life. But it’s a hell of a ride… one that ends all too soon. Fortunately, there are eight more songs on the album that are just as galvanizing and just as feral. You can enjoy one more previously released track in the player beneath our premiere of this new one.
