According to reports here and here, the 2015 edition of THE DECIBEL TOUR will include At the Gates, Converge, and Vallenfyre, plus one more band yet to be announced. This news was apparently divulged by Richard Christy on Saturday night on stage during the “Decibel Takes Manhattan” show, which featured Amon Amarth, Sabaton, and Vallenfyre.

I haven’t seen any more information than what is reported above, but this is exciting news. I’ll now have my fingers crossed, except for those rare occasions when I need those fingers for something else, that this thing will stop in Seattle.

That is all.

  1. CHICAGO DATE IS 17+. WHICH MEANS I’M FUCKING GOING. FUCK YEAH.

Also, I will say I kinda had a gut feeling/guess that ATG was gonna headline the tour, just based on the poster (kinda reminds me of the AWwR art in parts), and their good relationship with Decibel, and the fact that the similarly-situated (good relationship with Decibel, touring on reunion album) Carcass headlined last year.

  2. no surprise this one isn’t stopping anywhere near me, oh well 🙂

    • I know your pain – this is the first one I’ll hopefully be able to go to, having relocated from a twelfth-tier market (San Diego) to a first-tier one (Chicago).

  3. God damn tuesday again. Stoked its at the showbox again though, makes for such a great night in downtown Seattle.
