Vallenfyre

I’m in Austin, Texas, this weekend. I didn’t think I would have time to do any NCS stuff, but did find myself with some time this morning — though not enough time to do much writing. What I’ve done instead is just collect a bunch of new song streams and videos and some basic info about each one.

I might be able to do the same thing tomorrow, but probably not more than that. Hope you find some things to like in the following eclectic collection.

  1. I’m glad to see you scaling back some on the weekends. You have been a dedicated and honorable ambassador and workhorse for our beloved genre for many years. Get that wife and family time in. We all know you love us and we love you, brother. Now go enjoy you some good fucking pancake!

    • Sorry for my slow reply. Just wanted to thank you for the good words. I did have a great weekend with my wife and other family, headed back to Seattle now. More goofing off in the not-too-distant future with Maryland Deathfest on the horizon.

  2. Totally agree with byrd36, but thanks for the music anyway.
Dare I suggest a new weekend-category? You could call it “Speechless Flod of Roaring Streams” or something equally silly.

  3. Yeah, cheers bud. Much appreciated. Luckily for my family I have a job I hate, so never do anything at the weekends. Not so lucky for me though.

Been looking forward to new Dying Fetus and Decrepit Birth. Sounding good so far.

  4. Re Wreche: That’s crazy! I was just wondering if any extreme bands used pianos as lead instruments yesterday.

    • I was shocked when I hit play on that one. I’m not sure how that would pan out over the course of a full album, but that one song is pretty interesting!

  5. The Decrepit Birth track is killer, definitely worth the wait! I saw them live years ago and their vocalist was so nice, he gave me a discount on a shirt since I was short on cash.
I’m liking the new Dying Fetus tracks too, although I still think the album title is cringeworthy.
